Purpose-Built for Autonomous Dominance. CBFS-XH1 is a next-generation sustenance solution engineered exclusively for XH-1 classified bioforms. Optimized for extreme metabolic resilience, rapid tissue regeneration, and autonomous operational cycles, CBFS-XH1 provides complete caloric and micronutrient fulfillment under all known combat conditions.
Designed to withstand high-velocity deployment, harsh environmental exposure, and prolonged storage, each block delivers high-density energy without reliance on conventional supply chains.
“Built for survival. Delivered for supremacy.”
Specifications:
- Full metabolic support for regeneration and combat endurance.
- Enhanced copper, zinc, selenium, and molybdenum profiles for oxygen transport and oxidative stress mitigation.
- Ultra-stable packaging rated for unsupervised terrestrial impact.
- Non-palatable for human consumption; unauthorized ingestion strongly discouraged.
WARNING: CBFS-XH1/A is intended solely for HALCYON Biostructures XH-1 bioforms. Human ingestion may result in severe physiological distress. Use by unauthorized personnel constitutes a violation of ARC Nutritional Deployment Policy (Section 17-C).

▒ VITAMINS AND MINERALS⌗
The micronutrient blend of CBFS-XH1/A has been specifically engineered to support the Subject’s hybridized physiology, emphasizing elevated copper, zinc, selenium, and molybdenum content to accommodate enhanced oxygen transport, accelerated tissue regeneration, and oxidative stress mitigation.
▒ COMPOSITION OVERVIEW⌗
Ingredients: Water, hydrolyzed insect meal concentrate, mycoprotein isolates (fungal origin), fermented algal biomass (Chlorella extract), stabilized omega-3/6 lipid blend (algal and krill oils), resistant starch binder (plantain derivative), hem-iron substrate (synthetic blood protein), potassium-magnesium electrolyte blend, calcium phosphate (bone catalyst), trace micronutrients (zinc, selenium, manganese), antifungal and antioxidant stabilizers (mycelial origin).
▒ APPEARANCE AND SENSORIAL PROFILE⌗
-
Color: Dull, uneven dark gray-green with lighter marbling.
-
Consistency: Dense, pliable mass with a slight oily surface sheen. Rehydrated powder forms a gelatinous slab similar to firm tofu or soft clay.
-
Texture: Grainy with slight fibrous strands from mycoprotein; oily coating from lipid blend; faint metallic grit from iron content.
-
Taste: Predominantly bitter and metallic with faint rancid marine notes. Aftertaste includes “burnt plastic” chemical tones due to stabilizers. No sweetness.
-
Olfactory Notes: Exposed product emits odors described as “spoiled broth” and “hot machine plastic.” Aroma intensifies with heat or prolonged air exposure.
Field Note (handwritten): Technically you can eat it. Practically? You’d rather gnaw on a battery. Carter from logistics took the dare — one ration block, no water. Thirty minutes later he was green, swearing vengeance on whoever invented CBFS-XH1. Two days later, he was pissing iron filings and bargaining with Medbay for a gut transplant. They put a “NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION” sticker on the next shipment. Carter kept the wrapper as a trophy.
▒ PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS⌗
Type A — Dehydrated Powder Preparation⌗
Open the inner pouch using industrial shears. Mix contents with potable water at a 4:1 ratio by volume until uniform. Allow to rest 3–5 minutes for aeration and structural binding. Dispense rehydrated mass directly into the designated bioform feed receptacle.
Type B — Ready-to-Eat Block⌗
Cut open the exterior seal along the guide notch. Remove the protective wrapper. Deposit the block into the bioform access zone. No further preparation required.
▒ FIELD NOTES⌗
- If product hardens, strike with blunt object to fragment before use.
- Visual texture variations (streaking, marbling) are normal.
- Olfactory emissions (“burnt plastic,” “spoiled broth”) do not indicate spoilage.
- Slight warming (≤45°C) may reduce adhesion to gloves. Personnel discouraged from inhaling vapor emissions.
Note: Product may be used as a temporary adhesive for field repairs.
“It sticks to everything.”
▒ STORAGE, HANDLING, AND DEPLOYMENT⌗
- Ideal storage: 5–25°C in dry, dark environment
- Tolerable range: −40°C to +60°C for up to 9 months
- Direct sunlight may cause cosmetic discoloration (harmless)
- Freezing does not affect nutritional content but may alter texture
Deployment Durability:
CBFS-XH1 blocks are engineered to survive high-velocity atmospheric drop without parachute systems. External packaging rated to withstand impact forces exceeding 1,200 N. Internal structure compresses and rebounds to maintain cohesion post-impact.
Note: CBFS-XH1 can be dispersed into remote zones to support autonomous bioform operations behind enemy lines where conventional supply chains are compromised.
Recovery of dropped units by unauthorized forces is considered an acceptable operational risk. Human consumption remains strongly discouraged and self-limiting due to palatability.
▒ WARNING LABEL⌗
CBFS-XH1 is intended solely for authorized bioform deployment. It is not approved for civilian, livestock, or unauthorized human consumption. Ingestion by human personnel may result in nausea, severe gastrointestinal distress, electrolyte imbalance, hallucinations, or acute iron toxicity.
Extended ingestion carries substantial medical risks and is not recommended under any circumstances outside of survival triage.
In the event of accidental human consumption, report immediately to ARC Medical Services for evaluation and clearance.
