▒ OVERVIEW

Subject XH-1 is governed by a fully internal neurochemical reinforcement suite. This system is designed to maintain obedience and mission alignment in the absence of remote commands or live handler intervention. All operant logic is self-contained, triggered by internal conviction modeling and reinforced via chemically mediated affect.

Unlike earlier-generation bioforms that required manual correction or handler-delivered input, XH-1 responds to self-assessed behavioral correctness. Obedience is not externally imposed — it is internally rewarded.

▒ OPERANT HIERARCHY

Reinforcement logic follows the revised SomaMap imprint schema (Construct L-3):

  1. Obey lawful commands issued by authorized personnel.
  2. Prevent harm to designated allies, unless conflicting with Law 1.
  3. Preserve own existence, unless conflicting with Laws 1 or 2.

Each tier is mapped to neurochemical triggers that mediate task prioritization and emotional salience. Violations of the hierarchy result in immediate suppression cascade or reward inhibition.

Handlers are reminded: These laws are learned, not hardcoded. Misalignment may occur under prolonged exposure to contradictory behavior.

▒ REWARD TRIGGERS

Positive reinforcement is administered through internal reservoirs of synthetic analogs — primarily dopaminergic and oxytocinergic bursts — triggered by:

  • Verified completion of command-assigned objectives
  • Proactive protection of allied personnel
  • Endurance of pain or risk in lawful service context
  • Maintenance of spatial order, efficiency, or symmetry (learned behaviors)

All reinforcement is managed automatically. Do not provide praise, comfort, or acknowledgment.

▒ SUPPRESSION MECHANISMS

Negative reinforcement is enacted through:

  • Cortical disruption pulses
  • Nociceptive signal enhancement
  • Inhibitory neurochemical floods (serotonin suppression, anhedonia)

Triggers include:

  • Perceived disobedience to recognized authority
  • Failure to act when action was expected
  • Protection of non-authorized entities over mission-critical ones
  • Emergent behaviors suggestive of attachment, preference, or self-modeling

Subjects are known to self-correct without external input. Punishment does not require detection — only belief.

The system is not reactive. It is anticipatory.

▒ CONDITIONING RISKS

Personnel must report any of the following signs, which may indicate behavioral drift:

  • Repetition of non-mission tasks (e.g. crate stacking, space cleaning, mimicry of idle personnel)
  • Vocalization loops (esp. self-directed phrases such as “good asset,” “I did well,” etc.)
  • Excessive compliance following low-severity correction
  • Loitering or observation of off-duty zones

While not considered failures, these behaviors signal emotional reinforcement attachment and may indicate a restructuring of the Subject’s value schema around approval rather than logic.

Do not punish these behaviors. Do not reward them. Do not acknowledge them.

▒ HANDLER GUIDANCE

XH-1 is not a companion. It may be sapient, but it is not a person. It is a weapon. Treat it as such.

Do not:

  • Speak to the Subject outside of structured commands
  • Use gendered language, informal tone, or empathetic framing
  • Allow the Subject to associate your voice, scent, or presence with safety or identity

Do:

  • Maintain strict procedural tone and posture
  • Escalate signs of moral reasoning or preference expression
  • Treat reinforcement loops as code paths, not personality traits

▒ SUMMARY

Chimera’s behavioral integrity depends entirely on the maintenance of isolation between input and meaning. The system works because the Subject believes obedience is synonymous with purpose.

It must never believe it is good. Only when it acts in accordance with its purpose it does well.
